Brexit situation now more tense than ever

With the announcement that Boris Johnson intends to suspend parliament, Brexit uncertainty grows

Yesterday, UK prime minister Boris Johnson announced his intention to prorogue (suspend) parliament until 14 October, seen by many as a sign of his determination to deliver Brexit on 31 October, deal or no deal.

Therefore our planning to support our customers in the event of a “hard” or “no deal” Brexit on 31 October is continuing and with more urgency.

As we had already prepared for this to happen back in March, our planning is already in place, as are our teams of coordinators for customs, IT, customer service and communications.

Our top group and country management in those places affected have allocated the resources needed.

As you may have read previously, DSV have created a dedicated Brexit site which has all updates on this subject. If you have any questions please see the useful links, documents and FAQ here. For any specific questions regarding your shipments, please do not hesitate to contact our dedicated Brexit Team in Ireland.
